APPL, in association with some residents of Sec-62, Noida, distributed 175 sweaters in the Government school and to the poor children of migratory population in the nearby shantries in Sector 62, Noida.
December 2015 (At Government Primary School, Navada-Rasulpur, Noida-201301, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP)
APPL, in association with some other residents of other apartments of Sec-62, Noida, distributed 180 full sleeve sweaters to the school children. The DM and SSP, District Gautam Buddha Nagar appreciated the gesture.
December 2014 - January 2015 (At Government Primary School, Navada-Rasulpur, Noida-201301, District Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP)
APPL, in association with some other residents of Srijan Apartments, Sec-62, Noida distributed 203 sets of woolens, each set comprising of a full sleeve sweater, a cap and a pair of socks. Education department of UP Govt. provides free, each year 2 (two) sets of summer Khaki color school uniforms, consisting of a summer shirt and a pant (or skirt for girls), but does not provide for woolens such as sweaters, caps, and socks.
