APPL was the principal sponsor and oraganizer in the "Gorakhpur (UP) Literary Festival", held on October 6 and 7 at St. Andrews College in Gorakhpur.
Sending Relief Materials to Kerala during flood!
APPL organized relief-materials on urgent basis for the benefit of Kerala flood victims. The trust sincerely thank Dr. Ullas Nambiar and his devoted team and other volunteers in Bangalore, for arranging partial funding, purchases and logistics.
APPL-Trust has been active in creating awareness about urgent needs of electoral reforms in our Democratic Parliamentary Election system. In last a few years, APPL trust has organized 4 interactive workshops in Gorakhpur city.
This years also on 5th February 2017, APPL-Trust in association with Association For Democratic Reforms ( ADR) organized such a interactive meeting/ workshop on the issues of " Electoral Reforms and the Role of Civil Society" at the MBA Hall of DDU Gorakhpur university, Gorakhpur. All stake holders ,including the national convener of ADR Major General Anil Verma , (Retired.) and the State Convener Sanjay Singh participated / shared their views .Over a hundred participants including University faculty / students, student leaders, academicians, journalists, social activists , members of all major political parties, participated in the debate. Real issues like use of Money & Mussels' Power, Transparency, State Funding, Compulsory voting etc. were discussed.
Mobile Health-Clinics and APPL-Trusts 's Collaboration with Sewa Bharti, Gorakhpur - In January 2017, APPL-Trust has sponsored a Van, to be added to the Mobile-Clinic team of Sewa Bharati.
Sewa Bharti is a non-governmental organization (NGO), working among the economically weaker sections of Indian society with special focus on socio-economically marginalized, tribal and indigenous communities for medical assistance, free education, as well as vocational training through its nationwide network of more than 10,000 centers, spread in 602 districts in India.
Chennai Deluge -Victims A truck-load of relief Materials for the benefit of Chennai Deluge-Victims was organized and sent by APPL-Trust. The relief material consists of woolens / other clothing, utensils, packed food, medicines, tarpaulin-sheets and other material. It was made possible by APPL-Trust's volunteers in Bengalaru. Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund- APPL donated cash a sum of Rs.10,001/- for the benefit of victims of earth-quake at Nepal near Kathmandu, north-eastern states of India: viz. Bihar, U.P., West Bengal and other states. A formal acknowledgement from Prime Minister’s office is here.
Sponsored and paid Rupees 25,000/- for medical-treatment for one of the critical-female Kidney patients, on dialysis--twice every week, in Gorakhpur city

Sponsored and paid for Accidental-Insurance cover policy for a value of Rupees 1,00,000/- only each, for a period of one year, for 12 persons in Noida, U.P. who are serving as Mali, Electrician, Plumbers, Drivers, Sweepers, Guard etc. and covering both males and females, and other disadvantaged groups from SC, ST,OBC, Minority community

Scholarships to cover tuition-fees for Karate Classes for 24 months for two meritorious (Black Belt holders) & deserving students from weaker section of society were sponsored by APPL, at Noida (Dist. Gautam Buddha Nagar).U.P.
August / July 2012
Sponsored and paid for an interest-free loan for a value of Rupees 1,00,000/- (Rs. One Lakh )only , for six months, to one of the needy, non-related , non- Hindi speaking persons, located in Bengalaru , Karnatka state. The money is yet to be re-funded by the beneficiary because of still in bad financial health (June 2015).
